Showing at Groton Public Library for the Month of April!

This was in the April newsletter of Groton Public Library!

Come visit the display case by the DVDs and New Books in the center of the library past the teen room. I will be setting up in the late afternoon of April 1st, so come visit during the whole month of April at Groton Public Library in Groton, CT!

Groton Public Library is located at 52 Newtown Road, Groton, CT 06340.

Library Hours are Monday- Thursday 9-9; Friday 9-5:30; Saturday 9-5, Sunday 1-5.

Hopefully I will be showing several pastel paintings, not just one. I recently framed some works and one even has a matte that looks really nice!

I will post pictures after the display case is set up! Check back soon to see what it looks like or better yet, please visit in person!

New Pastel Painting

"Teapot with Onions" Soft Pastels, 2013. Somehow I did this in 4 hours. I might work on it a little more or change a few things here and there. The fun thing was, the last night I worked on this, unknowingly, I matched the painting, wearing an orangey-red sweater with grey stripes, although the stripes/ shadows in the cloth in this paining were really done mostly with purple. Enjoy!

Finished?!

Might be finished. Not sure yet. Anyway I'm done working on it for today. Don't really have a title for this one yet except that it certainly is a Cool Tones Pastel.  Enjoy!
